I’ve read reviews from parents with kids of all ages (as young as 3) who all say this made their first-time snorkel experience successful.

You can use your own spit which is more environmentally friendly (and convenient as you always have spit on you!) or baby shampoo, but when there are kids involved the overwhelming consensus according to thousands of happy parents is to use an anti-fog like this one.

Having to painfully detangle your kids hair after a fun snorkeling session makes you wonder if it was even worth it to start with! Mads has personally have used this exact Tangle Teezer with chemist brand conditioner post scuba on her long dry bleached knotty ocean hair for 3 years and it’s the ONLY brush that works – even on those knots that form around the mask straps (you know the ones!).

As this mum puts it: “My daughter has the worst hair. It constantly knots and gets tangled. Even with sprays it can take us 30 min to brush her hair. This was a daily struggle and she would cry and scream. I found this and tried it. I was able to brush her hair in 5 minutes and she said it didn’t hurt. “
